WYO CHEER FAQs
Questions below regarding Wyo Cheer Info (tryouts, practices, etc.)
A: No, tumbling is optional.
A: JV and Varsity teams are 9-12 and Junior High is 8th grade.
A: Nope! Begginers welcomed and encouraged
A: Come to at least 4 open gyms and learn a cheer, chant, dance (and cheer 101).
A: March 27th-31st are open gyms where we learn the tryout materials and April 1st is the tryout day?
A: Athletes in other sports will only be required to come 2 open gyms.
A: 2-3 time a week after school (usually from 4:30-6:30pm)
A: (For Football Season) Friday nights and Saturday afternoons
A:(For Basketball) Anytime of the week (usually around 7pm)
A: Other events are not limited to homecoming parade and bonfire, team bonding, service work, youth clinic, stunt clinics, all-star clinics and mini-thon
A: Yep! We have a competition team that has seperate tryouts in August 2023.
